One bottle for up to two children is the general practice, but you’ll need a second bottle if you’ve got three kids or more or if you happen to have a couple of kids with extra thick long hair. This is explained very clearly when shopping with Stella

But remember that most children don’t scratch when they’ve got Head Lice. The Better Health Channel advises using the comb & conditioner method weekly to manage potential infestations.

Head Lice cannot live away from the human scalp. The human scalp is their happy place and their source of sustenance. They will die if separated from this place of joy (they’re such gorgeous little charmers). So, it is not necessary to wash all bed linen.

That said, the Better Health Channel recommends you wash all pillow cases.

Head Lice can make you feel out of control. Stripping sheets off a bed and putting on new ones is one of the easiest ways to regain control. Plus, you can get older children to help. And who’s not a fan of clean sheets?

Head Lice eggs (nits) are oval and the size of a pinhead. They are firmly attached to the hair shaft and cannot be brushed off (Better Health Channel).
