We’ve got lice! Should I wash all bed linen?

Yes! (but probs not for the reason you think..)

You don’t need to wash any bed linen.

Lice can only live on the human scalp. They can’t live on any non-scalp surface.

They have no interest in your kids’ bedding and they definitely can’t make a cozy home for themselves there.

It would be like you trying to have a snuggly sleep on a freeway with no car and no doona. You just wouldn’t bother.

However (here comes Stella’s fine print!), a head lice infestation can make you feel out of control. 🌪️

An easy way to regain some control is to strip the sheets and pillows and replace all linen. 🛌

It’s also something that older children can help with.

Stella’s not trying to make any more work for anyone, but who doesn’t love clean sheets? 🤷‍♀️
